Perkins Law Scholarship Recipient Announced

One of the highlights at Perkins Law every fall is the announcement of scholarship recipients at the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing.  For the fifth year in a row, Perkins Law has sponsored a scholarship to help a deserving nursing student on his or her path to a professional career in nursing.  With the support of dozens of local companies and philanthropists, the school’s scholarship program has raised over $4 million in recent years to provide dozens of scholarships to support its nursing students.  This year’s Perkins Law Scholarship recipient is Joy Guizar, who aspires to become an intensive care unit nurse following graduation.  If you have ever been hospitalized, you can appreciate the important role nurses play in our healthcare system, so it is a privilege to be able to contribute in some small way to help someone fulfill their dream for a career helping others when they need it the most.  For more information about the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing scholarship program and its community impact, click here.
