If you are a tennis fan, then you want to mark your calendar for Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Grace Street Theater. There will be two tennis-focused film screenings featuring the lives of Althea Gibson and Arthur and Johnnie Ashe, followed by a panel discussion and book signing.  Panelists include Rex Miller, Jolynn Johnson Smith, and Tom Hood, with the discussion being moderated by Eric Perkins, local tennis supporter and co-author of “Richmond-One of America’s Best Tennis Towns”.  The morning festivities are part of the Southern Film Festival sponsored by VCU.
