RVA Nonprofit Spotlight: An Afternoon at Shalom Farms

April 16,2018 — I enjoyed a fun afternoon at Shalom Farms with my fellow Short Pump Rotarians picking carrots and protecting fields of onions and garlic. Shalom Farms is a nonprofit organization based in Powhatan County just off of Route 288. Formed in 2008, Shalom Farms strives to “work with communities to ensure access to healthy food and the support to lead healthy lives”.
