Trace RX, Inc. Wins 2018 SCOREcard Business Pitch Competition

Congratulations to TraceRx, Inc. and its founder Matthew Rosen on winning the 2018 SCOREcard Business Pitch contest and $5,000 top prize.  Trace RX is focused on providing tracking and traceability solutions to organizations that provide international relief and aid around the world to reduce losses due to negligence, theft, or destruction.  Sauber Cleaning Solutions, which provides cleaning services to healthcare facilities, took home $2,500 for a second place finish and Richbrau Brewing Company was awarded $1,000 as the third place winner.  Nearly two dozen local startups entered the competition, with six finalists being selected to give eight-minute business pitches before a panel of judges (including me) at last night’s final round hosted by Activation Capital.  A valuable experience for all participants and a great event for the RVA small business community! Thumbs up to Richmond SCORE for organizing this event for the third year in a row!
